Kris got a BUCK!

In case you haven't heard...

Kris got a BUCK!

Congrats Kris!

I did help a little...

Now I might even go sit in the double tree stand to check out the deer in the woods.

"Anna Time"

Do you ever what Anna and I do while Mason is still in school in the afternoon? Well mostly puzzles, games, errands/shopping, sometimes a dance party or even a photo shoot.
Take a peek into our fun!

Dr. P. - Mason's class pet

Dr. P. or Pigeon to the rest of the world is Mrs. Sero's 2008-09 class pet.
Dr. P. made his first trip home from school with Mason today.
Wow, did he pick a good day to join our flock.

Dr. P. did not even have to take the bus home, Mason, Anna and Dr. P were driven via Silver Dodge Durango. Oh and we did not even go home, oh no! We went to Mason's allergy shots, Dr. P. was very brave sitting on the counter through the whole thing. Then we drove through McDonald's for a french fry snack for Dr. P. because he was starving and there was no hot dog stand in sight. We also grabbed a few chicken nuggets for Mason and Anna.

The excitement was just getting started as we dropped Anna off at dance class. Next mission, buy more coffee creamer. Mason, Dr. P. and I headed to Wegmans....oh boy Dr. P. was landing everywhere, we could hardly keep up...

1st stop the funny pumpkins on the way in. Then to the sweets, cake and cookies.
We tried to get Dr. P. to eat healthy, he headed for the carrots and the HOT DOGS!

After that the sugar from the cookie kicked in and we chased him through the rest of Wegmans.

more candy!

Dog biscuits for Angus and Jo Jo!
and one last stop at the pumpkins on the way out!

Stream Team Project

As a result of the success with the Pond Partners
project during the 2007-2008 school year, HP awarded Klem South a Leadership Grant to continue their work for an additional year.

For the 2008-09 school year Klem South Elementary School recieved the HP Technology for Teaching Leadership Grant. Mrs. Sero's (Mason - 1st Grade) class and Mrs. Odle's (Anna - Kindergarten) class are 2 of the 15 classes that are apart of the Stream Team Project.

Students in K-5 will be working as environmental scientists and stewards of our fresh water as they visit streams in Webster throughout the school year. Making observations, collecting data, developing inquiry investigations and reporting findings are just a few of the activities planned for the year. Concepts of change, interdependence, and cycles will be developed through the many hands-on experiences at the stream and back in the classrooms.

Students will discover the hidden world in local streams, some of which lead directly into two of our Great Lakes and the Pacific Ocean. Check the Stream Team Wiki to keep up with what they find.
