Inspiration in my mail...whatever is necessary

A little piece of inspiration in my mail today!
Thank you :)

On this rainy day I thought I would share...

"Put yourself in a state of mind where you say to yourself,
'Here is an opportunity for me to celebrate like never
before, my own power, my own ability to get myself to do
whatever is necessary'."
~Martin Luther King

I am a lucky Mom!

I hope all the Moms out there had a Happy Mother's Day! I sure did!!!

I spent Sunday with Kris, Mason and Anna. We started the day with a sweet breakfast...cannoli and Dunkin Donuts for the kids, YUM!

After breakfast I opened a few gifts, the best part was the thoughtfulness, I really appreciate it.

I was given a cookie jar, Kris made it!

Anna gave me a hairbrush that she decorated, she painted a monkey (my favorite animal) on the back. She also made a few projects at school, including a mini flower pot and flower.

Mason wrote some very nice words, he made me a Power Point presentation that I love, and he made me an origami bookmark at school!

I also go a coffee mug, iPad speaker, a Shark hand vac, and a cookie decorating book.

After opening some goodies, we headed down to Sonnenberg Gardens. Mothers admission was only $1, what a deal. We enjoyed exploring as we followed the clues on the kids trail.

We made a stop for lunch and did a little shopping.
We stopped in at F. Olivers in Canandaigua to taste a few Balsamic vinegars and olive oils.
What a neat place!

Mason and Anna even tried a few combinations.

I purchased the Honeyed Ginger Balsamic Vinegar and the Lime Olive Oil. I can not wait to give them a try.

After a bit of shopping we made a quick stop at Nana's to wish her a Happy Mother's Day. Then off to find some dinner...We went to Wegmans to buys supplies to make grilled pizzas....take a look, they were YUMMY!

After dinner was cooked we enjoyed what we call "Zip Family Dinner Theater". This is really just eating dinner in the living room on tray tables and watching a movie. We ate and watched Jack Black's " Gulliver's Travels"

I had a GREAT day with Kris and the kids!
Thank you for a fun and thoughtful Mother's Day!
I love you guys xoxo :)
